Certification Process

Before You Register

  1. Check Candidacy: TSI certifications prescribe meeting certain educational as well as work experience requirements before the registration process. The requirements to be eligible for the credentials - ABSP™ and SBSP™ are different. Make sure to check thoroughly before choosing suitable certification.
  2. Meet Candidacy Requirements: Once you have chosen the TSI certification to register in, view the tracks. There are 3 registration tracks for both ABSP™ and SBSP™ certifications. Check ABSP™ registration tracks . Check SBSP™ registration tracks .
  3. Create your Account: You can create and access your myTSI account anytime. If you are new to myTSI, start your application process by creating your myTSI Account and completing the registration form. Once the application is submitted and approved, pay the certification package fee.
  4. Registration Confirmation: After the fee payment confirmation, you will receive a registration confirmation message on your registered email address with instructions for further steps. Now your myTSI dashboard will be activated, this enables you to access assistance resources and utilities.
    *At certain times, some candidates might be asked to submit their credentials and certificates. This is a standard TSI exercise to keep its candidacy validation system in good shape.

After you Register

  1. Handbooks Shipment: After confirmation of registration in ABSP™ or SBSP™, TSI handbooks are shipped to the registered address. ABSP™ candidates will receive the TSI Business Strategy Handbook, while SBSP™ candidates will receive two Business Strategy Handbooks. The normal delivery timeframe is four to five weeks.
  2. Study & Exam Preparation: TSI offers 365 days to complete your ABSP™/ SBSP™ certification. Study the handbooks and the other resources on your myTSI dashboard to prepare for the certification exam. If you are an SBSP™ candidate, the learning journey traverses through four stages before getting ready for the exam. Check your myTSI dashboard for more details.
  3. Read Examination Policies: The Strategy Institute (TSI) follows stringent policies to maintain the sanctity and credibility of its internationally renowned examinations. By ensuring a just, affirmative, healthy, objective, and empathetic approach in the process of the candidate's evaluation, TSI simplifies the process and offers a better experience to the candidates for awarding of its prestigious credentials.

  4. Schedule Exam: Schedule your certification exam in the exam section of your myTSI dashboard.
    *In case you are not able to take the exam when you scheduled it in the first instance, you can reschedule it by paying a nominal fee.

  5. Certification Award: If you qualify for the exam and meet the other conditions, you get awarded the ABSP™/ SBSP™ certification and the Digital Badge is issued to you. You can expect the shipment of the physical credential pack to reach you within three to four weeks from the date of the certification award.
